Alice Design-Pressure Rated Windows & Doors — Insured

Alice sits in Jim Wells County with a population of roughly 17,891 at the 2020 census, close enough to Corpus Christi that crews move between the two constantly. Local landmarks and corridors residents know well include Alice International Airport, the Jim Wells County courthouse.

Local knowledge is not a marketing line here. Alice properties share soil, weather, permit rules and construction eras with the rest of Jim Wells County, and a window contractor who works the area weekly already knows what fails locally and what holds up. That is the difference between a bid and an accurate bid.

Call (855) 393-3484 or send the form and we schedule a site visit in Alice, usually within a couple of days. You get a written, itemized free estimate with materials and scope spelled out — no verbal ballpark, no pressure, and no charge whether you hire us or not. Se habla español.

We also serve George West, TX and the rest of the Coastal Bend. Everything starts at the Corpus Christi Window Replacement homepage.

Corpus Christi Window Replacement covers the same range of work in Alice that we do in Corpus Christi — nothing is carved out because the address is a few miles up the road:

• Egress Windows — An egress window is the opening a trapped occupant climbs out of and a firefighter in full turnout gear climbs in through. The residential code sets the dimensions, the city enforces them at inspection, and here they collide with the pressure requirement.
• Fiberglass Window Replacement — The openings that bring people to this page in Corpus Christi are the big ones. A wide fixed lite facing the water, a tall stair window, a slider across the back of the house.
• French Doors — A pair of French doors has no jamb in the middle. Two leaves meet in open air, held together by an astragal and whatever the hardware does at the top and bottom, and that center joint is the entire structural argument for how the door is specified on this coast.
• Impact Window Installation — Impact rating and pressure rating are two different tests, and a window can pass one and fail the other. Confusing them is the most expensive mistake made on this coast, because the product that survives a flying two-by-four is not automatically the product that survives the pressure that threw it.
• Low-E Glass Window Installation — Which pane the coating sits on, and which face of that pane, changes what it does. Most homeowners have never been told there is a choice.
• Multifamily & HOA Window Replacement — One association here can own buildings that do not share a specification. This city is not a single windstorm zone, and the load an opening carries on the island end is materially different from the load the same opening carries inland.
